Illinois Receiver Arthur van der Vant serves Lake, Cook, and DuPage counties. He has vast expertise in corporate turnaround management and renewal, as well as decades of commercial real estate experience.
Arthur van der Vant began his career in 1987 as the founder of a successful real estate brokerage. He went on to head Major Enterprises, Inc., where he managed 600 agents and an average $1 billion sales volume per year. Currently, Mr. van der Vant serves as the Illinois Receiver, where he preserves and manages financially distressed assets under jurisdiction of State and Federal Courts, until which time as they are liquidated or redeemed.
Arthur van der Vant is a member of the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees, the Turnaround Management Association, among others. He is designated as an Accredited Auctioneer of Real Estate (AARE), a Certified Auctioneers Institute Member (CAI) and is also a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). In addition to his role as Receiver, Arthur van der Vant serves as an Assignee in the Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors (ABC) cases under the Illinois common law.
